So let me ask you… How many of have a working serial port on your PC? Because I can assure you I don’t! Had to go and buy a USB to serial RS232 or whatever it is! Bottom line it was a Ritmo dodgy thing. Could not get drivers working for windows 7 x64. MY simple solution was as always a linux distro. I chose mint this time (debian based). Did a simple install of putty… “sudo apt-get install putty” The drivers I needed are apparently installed by default so in putty all you have to do is select the serial option and change the path to USB0. Will post a picture tomorrow to explain more clearly. Hope this helps someone and saves some time as it took me a while to just freaking console into my equipment.
