My plan is download the entire contents of the website directory. Then use phpmyadmin to download a backup of the database table. modify the config file to reflect the new server details. Finally creating a new database on the new server and uploading my backup to create the tables and fill them with the website data.

Fingers crossed all goes and I’ll report back on how it all went :)

It’s 2012 so lets hope the world doesn’t end. Besides that nothing really new as far as the site goes. I will continue to use it as a blog but also a means for me to test new wordpress features and plugins.
